Autumn and her 3-year-old daughter entered the doors of Beauty for Ashes Women and Children’s Home in December of 2019 desperate for freedom. Ten plus years of drug abuse toxic relationships and multiple incarcerations had left her searching with no direction. As she started to find healing in the program and build a relationship with Christ Autumn heard the call of God on her life to full-time ministry helping other women in similar situations. With the support of the Beauty for Ashes Staff, she began to pursue her call without compromise and with full confidence that there was a purpose to every bit of pain she had experienced.  After completing the program Autumn entered an internship with Beauty for Ashes and was later extended the opportunity to join the staff as the House Supervisor.

She finished a one-year ministerial leadership course that started her working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Christian Counseling with a focus in Psychology and is pursuing every opportunity possible to continue growing equipped to better serve the community of people God has entrusted her to serve.  Because of Teen Challenge, she knows her direction, has found freedom in surrender, and has dedicated her life to helping others do the same.  Today as the director of the Adult and Teen Challenge Virginia Women’s Program she is a walking testimony to what God can do when you willingly open your heart to Him.
